Damon Millican

Classroom & Behind-the-Wheel Instructor

Damon Millican brings an eclectic mix of talents and experience to bear as a classroom and behind-the-wheel instructor for ODEC.

Safety has always been important to Damon. He served as a lifeguard in The Scouts where he achieved the rank of Eagle Scout.

Damon is a professional actor, having spent a lifetime in the arts and media. He has over 100 professional productions under his belt including plays, musicals, movies, TV/radio spots and training films. He studied at the American Academy of Dramatic Arts and is a member of AEA, SAG and AFTRA. Recently this versatile educator completed his Bachelor's degree in Theatre Arts magna cum laude at Portland State University on various scholarships and taught there on a special fellowship. During his stint at PSU,Damon also taught at the Village Home Education Resource Center. He has taught various music classes privately.

A video enthusiast, several of Damon's students have created innovative driver's ed videos. Damon has been with ODEC for over two years. His costume-like bright safety vests and jackets, along with his infective sense of humor and high energy, enable him to loosen up the Driver's Ed experience.

Damon teaches both the teen and adult program.

Damon lives in Clackamas with his beagle, Tyson.  He is thankful both of his wonderful daughters are great, safe drivers.
