Dennis has taught public school for more than twenty-five years in Texas and Oregon. He has taught all subjects in grades 2 through 7. Currently, Dennis teaches 7th grade Math in the Beaverton School District. He has taught behind-the-wheel (BTW) and classroom with ODEC for three years.

Dennis was born in Philadelphia, PA. He has been married to Susan for twenty-seven years and has three children ages 13, 17 and 20.
