Mary has a Bachelor of Arts in Education plus 30 units of her five year teacher program. She has been a teacher in the Portland public schools for twenty years. Mary is a Driver Education teacher for Portland public schools and Oregon Driver Education Center. She has been doing classroom and behind the wheel (BTW) for over ten years.

Mary is the Mother of three cat children and a bossy parrot.
