HOW TO ENTER:

Two easy steps to Enter Your Video:

1. Fill out the entry form. CLICK HERE
2. Post your video on YouTube. Below you will find step by step instructions to do this. 
• Create a YouTube account
• Log-in to YouTube.
• Click the upload button on the upper right hand side of the screen.
• Follow the on-screen instruction.

ELIGIBILITY:

1. Participants must be 18 years or younger to qualify.

OFFICIAL RULES:

1. Prizes are awarded based upon the number of votes given to an entry on the ODEC website.
2. One prize per video entry awarded.
3. You may enter as many videos as you wish but each one must be entered with a separate entry form.
4. All entry forms must be filled out completely and videos must be submitted as specified.
5. By submitting the entry form, all rights and ownership belong to Oregon Driver Education Center, Inc.
6. The entrant and any party or all parties related to the making of such video, hereby releases ODEC from any and all liability or injury resulting in the making of the  video submitted to contest.
7. We reserve the right to refuse video entries that are deemed inappropriate due to content, or any other reason.
8. One vote allowed per IP address every 24 hours.
9. Contest votes tallied on March 31, 2010 at 5:00 P.M.

SUBJECT MATTER ACCEPTED:

• Must pertain to Driver Safety or Driver Awareness
• No obscene, offensive, or illegal behavior
• No footage taken which involves participants in a moving or unsafe vehicle

WINNERS:

• Winners will be announced on or about April 1, 2010.
• Winners will be required to receive their prize at a Parent Orientation meeting of the Sponsor's choice. You must be present to win.
• Winners will be notified by e-mail and may be required to complete an Affidavit of Eligibility and Liability/Publicity Release (“Affidavit”), which must be returned within 14 days of the date on the notification or an alternate winner will be selected.
• If the Winner is under the age of 18, the Winner’s parent or legal guardian will be required to execute the Affidavit on behalf of the winner.
• Any prize notification or prize returned as undeliverable will be awarded to an alternate winner.
• No substitution for prize, except at Sponsor’s sole discretion.
• Prize is not transferable or redeemable for cash.
• Taxes are the winner’s responsibility.
• Prize acceptance constitutes permission (except where prohibited) to use winner’s name and likeness for advertising and publicity purposes without additional compensation.
• ODEC and its agents are not responsible for any liability associated with the acceptance or use of or inability to use a prize.
• Winners and the parent or legal guardian of winners acknowledge that prizes are awarded “as is” and that any representation, guarantee or warranty, express or implied, in law or in fact, relative to any prize, including but not limited to its quality, mechanical condition or fitness for a particular purpose is expressly disclaimed.
• The grand prize will be presented at a Parent/Student Orientation and the winner or their representative must be present to accept the prize.

GENERAL TERMS:

• ODEC and its agents are not responsible for lost, late, misdirected, damaged, incomplete or illegible entries or Internet technical, hardware, software, telephone, or transmission failures of any kind, which may limit a person’s ability to enter the Contest.
• ODEC and its agents are not responsible for any injury or damage to entrants’ or any other person’s computer related to or resulting from entering or downloading any materials in the Contest.
• ODEC reserves the right to cancel or suspend advertising the Contest on the Internet should a computer virus, unauthorized intervention or other cause corrupt the integrity or proper conduct of the promotion.
• ODEC reserves the right to disqualify any entrant found to be disrupting the operation of the Contest or its web site.
• No transfer or assignment of entries is permitted.
• Entrants retain all rights to video submissions but agree to grant non-exclusive, non-commercial rights for usage to the ODEC.

RELEASE OF LIABILITY:

By entering, the entrants and the parent or legal guardian of entrants agree to hold harmless ODEC, its subsidiaries, affiliates, advertising and promotion agencies, and all of their respective officers, directors, employees, representatives and agents, from and against, any and all rights, claims and causes of action whatsoever that they may have, or which may arise, against any of them for any liability for any matter, cause or thing whatsoever, including but not limited to any injury, loss, damage, whether direct, compensatory, incidental or consequential, to person, including death and property, arising in whole or in part, directly or indirectly, from their acceptance, possession, use or misuse of a prize in the Contest, or their participation in the Contest, or their participation in any Contest or prize related activity.
